Leather Care

Leather Care: Essentials

• Address stains or spills immediately. Use a clean, smooth cloth to gently wipe, then let it dry naturally. Avoid heat sources like hairdryers or irons—they can damage the leather.

• Apply a small amount of leather moisturizer or cleaner, such as Mink Oil. Stay away from any chemical substances.

• Protect your leather from sharp objects. If scratches occur, don't worry—the leather will develop a patina that will diminish their appearance.

Breaking in Your Leather Products:

• Avoid overstretching or overstuffing your wallet, card holders, and similar items:

  • When you first receive the product, don’t overload it with cards. Start by adding 1 or 2 cards at a time. Once the leather has loosened, you can gradually add more cards.

Personalization/Name Stamping Care:

We use the Hot Stamping method to deboss personalization on our leather goods.

• Protect the foil stamping from scratches and avoid contact with sharp objects.

• Keep the foil stamping away from liquids (water, soap, etc.) to prevent fading.

Hardware/Accessories Care:

• Solid Brass (Belt Buckles):

  • Solid brass may oxidize with daily use. Clean it using a brass cleaner (e.g., Brasso) and a soft cloth to maintain its shine.

• Plated Metal Hardware:

  • Plated metal may also oxidize over time. To preserve the color, keep it dry and avoid exposure to water or chemicals.
  • INQUIRY

At the start of every custom project, we review your design preferences, leather options, hardware choices, and any personalization. We'll also determine if the project is within our capabilities before we move forward.

  • CONFIRMATION

After discussing all the details of your project, I'll provide an estimate and timeline. If you agree with everything, a non-refundable 50% deposit will be required to proceed.

All payments are non-refundable. To meet deadlines, materials will be ordered and your spot reserved right away. Cancellations result in considerable material and time loss.

  • DESIGNING

Once the deposit is received, I'll begin by drafting the design and sourcing the materials needed. After you review and approve the design and final dimensions, I'll move forward with the next phase of the project.

  • PRODUCTION

After you approve the design, I'll start crafting the final product and will inform you when it’s ready for shipment or pickup, along with some photos. The remaining 50% balance must be paid after the product is completed and before it ships out to you.

  • SHIPPING

Once I receive the final balance, I will prepare and ship your project to you. You will receive a shipping confirmation along with tracking details to monitor its journey to you.
